The Flat Stick Tractor Pulling Team has been involved in Tractor Pulling for nearly 20 years. Kevin Hynam originally built the tractor with help from his younger brother Murray and family. Kevin competed with the original Flat Stick (327 Chev) for about six years and then took a break from the sport.
Murray grabbed hold of the wheel as soon as he was able and replaced the 327 with a more potent 350 Chev and has been competing over the past 10 years. Murray is has served as the ATPA President, retiring from this position in 2004, and has also held the Australian Championship title for Limited Tractors a number of times.
